Elise Hale-Case, MA

Elise Hale-Case (she/her) graduated from the 天美视频 of Theology and Psychology with an MA in Counseling and Psychology in 2015 and an MA in Theology and Culture with an emphasis on Social Global Partnership in 2016. Her MATC integrative project focused on western Christianity鈥檚 contributions to the construction of whiteness and a biblical/theological approach to working through both the psychological and somatic symptoms of whiteness.

Since graduating, Elise has held several therapist and administrator roles. She鈥檚 worked as an Intake Specialist at a psychiatric hospital and as a private practice therapist with Mosaic Counseling Collective — a diverse group of counselors committed to holding a social justice lens in their therapy practices. Elise also held a part time position as the Program Coordinator for an LGBTQ professional development leadership organization. Most recently, Elise worked at a local LGTBQ community mental health agency where, in addition to providing individual therapy, she co-facilitated the internship program and ran the Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program for people in early recovery, King County Drug Court participants, and clients with court-mandated treatment.

She is a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) and a licensed substance use disorder professional (SUDP) in the State of Washington. Elise is a certified Advanced Somatic Transformation Practitioner through Sharon Stanley鈥檚 Somatic Transformation training program.

Elise lives in South Seattle with her wife, Molly. She loves to walk, hike, open-water swim, and is learning to crochet.
