Convocation at serves as our annual community-wide ritual of beginning again together.

Convocation is an ancient tradition that harkens back to Oxford University in England, where all new students were officially welcomed into the community and all members of the community were asked to commit themselves to the culture and mission of their school.

During our 鈥淟itany of Matriculation鈥� faculty, staff, alumni, and returning students, along with our families and spouses/partners, officially welcome the incoming class and their families into our learning community. We reaffirm our commitment to our mission and to one another. And finally, we celebrate Holy Communion together; all are invited to participate in whatever way honors your own spiritual practice or faith tradition.
