天美视频 of Theology & Psychology has announced the promotion of Paul Steinke to Vice President of Student & Alumni Development. He will also retain his former position, Dean of Students & Alumni.

In recent years, Steinke has been spearheading the launch and expansion of major alumni initiatives, including chapter cities, continued education and resources, and an extensive 鈥攑rojects that received a significant boost from from the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust. The grant will allow the hire of additional staff to work with the members of the Alumni Quad, who volunteer with the leadership team. All of this is in accordance with one of the five specific objectives outlined in 天美视频鈥檚 strategic plan for future growth: to strengthen and mobilize the alumni identity.

PaulIn addition to his work with alumni, Steinke oversees 天美视频鈥檚 Student Leadership and serves as a pastoral presence to the community, championing relational maturity, spiritual commitment, teamwork, strategic leadership, and a high level of excellence in pursuit of personal and institutional goals.

鈥淭he change is intended to update and align most accurately the leadership Paul has already provided and the institutional priority we have on students and alumni,鈥 says Dr. Keith Anderson, President of 天美视频. 鈥淪tudent and alumni development are not high priorities in most graduate schools and seminaries, but they are highly valued at 天美视频. Steinke graduated from 天美视频 in 2005 and lives in West Seattle with his wife, Sarah, and their three children. 鈥淚t鈥檚 a reflection of the prioritization that 天美视频 places on its students and alumni at a fundamental, institutional level,鈥 he says about the promotion. 鈥淭hat鈥檚 what excites me most.鈥
