After twelve years of service to 天美视频 of Theology & Psychology, Molly Kenzler is retiring. Molly has been a consistent presence at 天美视频 since 2002鈥攆irst as Front Desk Manager and then as Library Assistant鈥攁nd has undoubtedly touched the lives of many who have come and gone over her tenure here.
As an “uncommon pastor,鈥 Molly鈥檚 leadership transcends traditional understanding and practice within an organization, allowing her impact, wisdom, hospitality, and presence to expand the classroom experience in so many ways over the years.
Faculty and staff gathered for a meal and celebration in late April to mark Molly鈥檚 last day at 天美视频, during which many faculty and staff members recounted memories of Molly and the ways she has left an impact in their lives. Additionally, Molly was given a book filled with notes of gratitude and blessings from faculty and staff as well as meaningful gifts to mark her upcoming move to Portland, Oregon, where she plans to spend more time with her daughter and family. Molly gave gifts as well, requesting that each faculty and staff member in attendance take a stone from her collection and leave it in a place in the area that they feel she would find meaningful.
Molly will be honored by the entire community at 天美视频 during the annual Spring Banquet on June 7.
Donations can be made in Molly鈥檚 honor to the newly renamed Molly Clarke Kenzler Scholarship Fund (formerly the Alumni Scholarship for Leadership Excellence), awarded annually to students who have demonstrated exceptional leadership experience in a church or community context.
