November 15th marked the beginning of 天美视频 of Theology & Psychology鈥檚 end of year campaign, God With Us. During this season of Advent, we are moved to gratitude as we acknowledge the impact of our generous donors and committed students. 聽We believe God is with us in this work, and it is in this season that we pray for provision to affirm and move our mission forward. 聽President Keith Anderson commenced the God With Us campaign in a reflective letter to invite current and potential donors to partner with the mission of 天美视频 by making a year end gift.

鈥淚t turns out that God speaks in wild and strange ways, in thunderous ways but also in the surprise of the ordinary in voices we recognize because they sound like people we know, live with, work with, and love…. What will we hear if we listen for the living presence of God in ordinary places? 聽At 天美视频 we practice that kind of listening everyday as our prayer chimes sound at nine, noon, and three. 聽They are an audible, daily, frequently interrupting reminder of Advent, God with us鈥攅xtraordinary in the ordinary.鈥 – Dr. Keith R. Anderson, President

As part of the God With Us campaign, 天美视频 will be participating in on December 2nd. #GivingTuesday is a social movement, founded in New York in 2012, to celebrate giving and respond to the messages and spirit of consumerism found in Black Friday and Cyber Monday following Thanksgiving. 聽#GivingTuesday at 天美视频 will invite future and prospective donors to allow the interruption of Advent into their lives, remember God With Us, and respond to the invitation to give. 聽天美视频 hopes to raise $3,000 on December 2nd to fund student scholarships.

天美视频 is also giving back to its community during this season of giving through a series of Advent reflections written by faculty, staff, students, and alumni. 聽Beginning Sunday, November 30th, six Advent reflections will be sent out, concluding with a reflection from Dr. Dan B. Allender on Christmas Eve. You and your loved ones are invited to join 天美视频 during this season of holy preparation, anticipation, waiting, and interruption.
