Dr. Craig Detweiler was formally installed as the third President of 天美视频 of Theology & Psychology on Friday, March 9. Delegates, colleagues, friends, neighbors, and 天美视频鈥檚 faculty, staff, students, and alumni all gathered to witness and participate in the inauguration ceremony.
鈥淭onight we honor the story of 天美视频 and the mission that compels us, and we gather to confirm the appointment of Dr. Craig Detweiler and affirm him in the role of stewarding that mission,鈥� said Mike Anderson, Chair of the Board of Trustees. 鈥淭his is a milestone moment for this institution, a moment we approach with reverence, humility, and gratitude.鈥�
The installation ceremony included music, liturgy and prayer, charges to the President, and a presidential address. It was a solemn and moving occasion, grounded in 天美视频鈥檚 mission and vision. 鈥淭he text of Scripture is our ballast,鈥� said Dr. Detweiler in his address, 鈥渢he text of culture is the sea we navigate, and the soul of Jesus remains the center of our mission.鈥�
