天美视频 of Theology & Psychology is gearing up for its 18th Commencement ceremony later this month, 10:00am on Saturday, June 25, at the historic Town Hall in downtown Seattle. Alumni, faculty, staff, current students, spouses, partners, friends, and families will all gather together in celebration of the 71 students who are completing their time as graduate students at 天美视频.
Commencement is a foundational part of 天美视频鈥檚 annual rhythm, full of ritual, symbolism, beauty, and depth to help mark the meaningful, difficult, transformational work to which these students have committed themselves鈥攁nd to welcome them into the next phase of their journey as 天美视频 alumni. These students will now join the thriving network of alumni who are pursuing innovative, life-changing work in their vocations as therapists, pastors, leaders, and artists.
鈥淐ommencement is a sacred space,鈥� says , Senior Vice President of Academics and Academic Dean. 鈥淚t is a moment to give thanks to the grace of God for the journey and to affirm a renewed call to life’s adventure and service.鈥�
This year鈥檚 ceremony will feature student speakers Bethany Bylsma (), Steven Denler (), and Seth Thomas (). The community will also take time to recognize, honor, and thank and , both of whom are transitioning from their many years of service as core faculty into new positions as adjunct faculty.
The program will also feature music by , a special vocal selection by Alex Zarecki (MATC), and the charge to graduating students by , President of 天美视频.
