Information technology  solutions provider Microgenesis donated 13 Huawei IdeaHub interactive display board units to the Ƶ, with a ceremonial turnover held on June 10. The event was led by UP Vice President for Academic Affairs Leo Cubillan and Microgenesis Executive Director Jeffrey Choa.

Choa, a BS Computer Science alumnus of the university, said the donation was his way of giving back to the UP community. He expressed hope that it would encourage more UP alumni and organizations to support UP’s flagship program on digital transformation.

The donation was made possible through a collaboration with the UP Intelligent Systems Center. Each UP constituent university, as well as the UP Tacloban College and select UP System offices, will receive an interactive display board unit to support interactive instruction and learning, hybrid collaboration, and more efficient administration in the university.
