The UP College of Medicine (then known as the Philippine Medical School) opens. It predates the opening of the University proper by 3 years.

The School of Fine Arts (1909), the College of Liberal Arts (1909), the College of Veterinary Medicine (1910), the College of Engineering (1910), the College of Agriculture (1906, in Los Ba帽os, Laguna) follow to form the initial core of the newly established UP.
