After careful consideration, the UP Board of Regents (BOR) on June 26, 2025 decided to defer to the second week of July its discussion on the application for faculty merit promotion of over 900 faculty members.聽
While the final decision has been moved to a special BOR meeting, the University administration is pleased to share that for those approved for promotion in July, the salary increase will be applied as of July 1, 2025.聽
